En la previa de la 51 Edición de los Premios Grammy saltó la polémica de la mano de Chris Brown y Rihanna. Por lo que afirman las fuentes policiales y prensa Chris Brown estaría envuelto en un caso de terrorismo machista siendo la víctima su querida Rihanna. Emulando a Bobby Brown ,El Debarge o Sean Penn el joven cantante de R&B ha visto como tan solo un día después del desagradable y aun no esclarecido caso ( se habla incluso de tenencia de armas y empleo de la misma…) Doublemint ha cancelado el spot televisivo del que era protagonista. Destacar que el acontecimiento incluso motivo la aparición de Al Green , Justin Timberlake y BoyzIIMen en la gala en sustitución de la bella Rihanna.
